About Us

Community Church is a church on a mission. Here is a little history about our beginnings. Pastors Keith and Dr. Priscilla Parker founded Community Church in April of 2006. They first held worship services on June 4th of that year, in a barn on the property, with a seating capacity of about 30. Since then, we have been blessed to grow into a beautiful facility, equipped with a 250 person capacity sanctuary, a large fellowship hall, a student building & an office building. All of this is nestled in a serene setting in rural Arab, AL, on a large property that overlooks a pond.

Community Church is a non-denominational spirit filled church where all people are invited to worship. This church strives to meet the spiritual needs of all people, regardless of ethnic or social background. We offer bible-based teaching an preaching in our Sunday Morning Adult Bible School, morning Church Service and Wednesday night Bible Studies. We teach relevant course curriculum to our students, through Sunday morning Children’s Church. And, every believer is encouraged to participate in Communion, which is held the first Sunday of each month.

In addition to our service and class times, we offer counseling to those who seek it. We have a very thorough and well trained deliverance and inner-healing ministry here as well, to meet the needs of those struggling with spiritual and emotional issues that are insufficiently treated by normal, conventional methods.

We have many ministries that we encourage people to get involved in, so that they can use their God-Given talents for the benefit of the Kingdom of God. Those ministries include: Missions, Deliverance & Inner Healing, and Children’s Church.

In addition to offering services to our community here at our campus, we have a 20 acre property in north Arab that functions as the North Alabama Retreat Center. This is a place that churches from all over our region can come and build their teams, or simply relax, away from the stresses of normal, everyday life.
